Dance at Illinois Alumni Evening at Links Hall

Chicago and surrounding area alumni of the Department of Dance at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign are invited to submit a proposal to show work on November 1-2, 2024 at Links Hall Chicago, 3111 N Western Ave, Chicago, IL 60618.

Works should not exceed 10 minutes in length and a cast of alumni performers is preferred. You will receive tech time on Friday, November 1 and performances are at 7pm on November 1-2. A stipend of $500 will be provided for each choreographer.

-Short bio
-Degree and year graduated from UIUC
-Vimeo or YouTube video link of proposed work, or work representative of your artistry if premiering a new work. Remember to include a password if the video is locked.
-The curation committee includes Dance at Illinois alumni, Mariam Thiam (BFA ’04), Mark Kater, (BFA ’80) and Paige Cunningham-Caldarella (MFA ’07).
